Distance Learning through Saint Peter's

Saint Peter's University believes the educational experience of all is enhanced by interacting with a globally diverse student body representing a wide variety of international perspectives. Online education is the ideal forum for this exchange, and our programs give students anywhere in the world the opportunity to experience the excellence of American higher education. Saint Peter's welcomes international students to its online program whether they reside in the United States or abroad.

Students living abroad while pursuing an online degree from Saint Peter's University do not need a student visa. Once accepted into our program, international students can begin classes right away and earn the very same degree that is available on campus.

To apply to Saint Peter's University, all international students whose previous education was attained outside the United States must submit the following:

  • Official Saint Peter's University application
  • Official English translations of transcripts from previous institutions and a credit evaluation performed by World Education Services.
  • Official TOEFL scores (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS scores (International English Language Testing Service).
         
    o  Recommended TOEFL scores: 213 (computer-based test),
              550(paper-based test) or 79 (Internet-based test).
          o  Recommended IELTS scores: 6 or greater.

Please note that all documents must be official versions. Faxes, photocopies or electronic copies cannot be accepted.

If you plan to reside in the United States during your studies, you will need an I-20 form from Saint Peter's and an F-1 student visa.
